Settings, in six groups

The gear at the top right opens Settings: your plan at the top, then six groups of pages.

  • Region: where you drive, and your units.
  • Display: how the app looks.
  • Prices: the price cards and your rates.
  • Trips: automatic tracking.
  • Alerts: the reminders.
  • Data: backups, exports and imports.

Region

Region: where you drive, then your units, currency, and date and time formats. Each can also be changed on its own:

  • Miles or kilometers, and gallons or liters.
  • The economy unit: MPG; MPG (UK), miles per imperial gallon of 4.546 liters, about 1.2 × US MPG; L/100 km; or km/L.
  • The currency, the date format and a 12- or 24-hour clock.

What L/100 km means

What L/100 km means: the liters it takes to drive 100 km, so lower is better (MPG is the other way round, distance per fuel). It’s 235.2 ÷ MPG (US): 40 MPG is 5.9 L/100 km, 30 MPG is 7.8.

Display, Prices, Trips, Alerts, Data

  • Display: Appearance (light, dark or as your phone is, and the theme: Evergreen, Ocean, Sunset, Violet, Graphite, or Vehicle, the paint of the first vehicle shown) and Charts & stats (data points on charts, Dash accuracy and Emissions).
  • Prices: the price cards on the Dash, your home electricity rate, Gig work and business mileage (your rate, the CSV, the reimbursement report and the tax package).
  • Trips: Automatic tracking, the drives found while you drive and how they start and end.
  • Alerts: the reminders.
  • Data: the automatic backup, Your data (exports, imports and reports), About (the version, the privacy policy and terms, and the data sources and licences) and Start over; your plan is the banner at the top.
