Set up a vehicle
Log when and where you bought it
Garage → Edit → Purchase: the day you bought it, who from, where and the odometer then. It becomes the first entry in the car’s History, with the flag of where you bought it.
Purchased in
Where you bought it (optional, Garage → Edit → Purchase): the state, province or country, shown with its flag on the vehicle’s Garage card.
The purchase
In the same card:
- When: the day and time you bought it.
- Who from: a dealer or a private seller, with a name if you like (a buyer’s history report names a dealer, never a private seller).
- Where: the address, coordinates, Use where I am there, or a pin. Purchased in is filled from the address while it’s blank.
- The odometer then, and Full tank when bought (Where the log starts).
- A photo added there (the bill of sale photographed, say): it offers when and where it was taken, to use or not.
