Automatic tracking missed a drive

Open Settings → Trips → Automatic tracking: it says what’s holding drives back, with a button to fix it.
- Location: “All the time”, with Use precise location on.
- Physical activity (motion): allowed.
- Battery: OdoWorks unrestricted (on a Samsung, in Never sleeping apps).
- Too short: a drive under about 0.3 mi or two minutes isn’t kept, and Detected drives says so for an hour.
